Kalivi Elena - history
On one of our trips to the Greek islands, we saw a beautiful landscape passing by: the green Pelion peninsula. Small villages shatered across the mountain area and at the coastal side there where sandy beaches and small secluded bays. No wonder that the the year after we decided to spent our holiday on Pelion. We found our second home country and bought a house in Platanias.
Since then, a great part of the year we live in this beautiful surrounding!
At the same time we were offered a piece of land with an old, partly collapsed kalivi (stone house) and the idea of Kalivi Elena was born. Only a few years later, the kalivi has been fully restored and now compromises a full equipped holiday house with a great view over the Aegean Sea.
Outside you will be happily surprised to find a hot/cold shower, where you can enjoy showering with sea views in all privacy!
The tropical garden all around the house gives you an extra holiday feeling.There is a small shed with garden tools, washing machine and laundry rack.
