Travelling by Airplane

You can fly to the international airports of Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos) or Thessaloniki (Macedonia) and hire a car to drive to Pelion.

During the summer season you can also fly direct to Nea Anchialos national airport just outside Volos. Flights directly to Volos to Düsseldorf (Eurowings) and London (EasyJet). Cheap flights to Thessaloniki are offered by RyanAir.

With the boat

From Venice, Ancona or Bari in Italy it's possible to take the ferry to Igoumenitsa at the west coast of Greece. Early booking discount until end of February. De road to South Pelion goes through the picturesque mainland of Greece.
